



The Stress-Proof Breath: Mastering Life-Work Balance
We all face stressful life situations, ranging from minor annoyances like traffic jams to more serious worries like coping with serious illness. No matter what the cause, stress floods your body with hormones. Your heart pounds, your breathing speeds up, and your muscles tense - all normal responses to threatening situations, honed in our evolutionary DNA to help us survive threats like an animal attack or a flood. Today, we rarely face these physical dangers, but challenging situations in daily life can trigger our bodies stress response. We can’t avoid all sources of stress in our lives, nor would we want to. But we can develop healthier ways of responding to them. My approach to coping with stress is a Life Coaching approach. Life Coaching is a dynamic, collaborative, and goal-oriented process where we work together to identify sources of stress and design a more peaceful connected way forward.
